How do I get same-day electricity in Dallas?

To get same-day electricity in Dallas, enroll with Pogo Energy before 6 PM CT on a business day. Enter your Dallas address, confirm the Oncor service territory, add your first payment (minimum $60), and select same-day activation during enrollment. Pogo submits the activation request to Oncor Electric Delivery. Most Dallas addresses with an existing smart meter are activated the same day without a technician visit.

Which utility company serves Dallas? 

Oncor Electric Delivery is the local Transmission & Distribution Utility (TDU) that serves most of Dallas and the DFW metroplex. Oncor owns the power lines, transformers, and meters. It delivers electricity to homes and businesses regardless of which retail electricity provider you choose.
