How to Get Electricity Today
Pogo offers customers multiple ways to charge up and get same day electric service. Once you set up your account, choose to charge up online or with cash.
When you charge up online you will be adding funds to your account and those funds will be used to pay for the electricity you use. If you want to set it and forget it, select the autopay option. Autopay automatically adds money to your account when the balance reaches a certain dollar amount that you choose. Want to charge up with cash? No problem! Just visit a Pogo cash payment location near you.

What do I need to do to get the power turned on today?
Getting power turned on today is easy. Start by checking to make sure your address is within our service area, once verified, create an account. Creating your account shouldn’t take more than 2 minutes. Once your account has been created, choose when you want power turned on and charge up with at least $60. That’s it, you have power!
Can I get my power turned on the same day I sign up?
Yes. When you sign up with Pogo Energy you are asked to choose the date you want the power turned on. As long as you sign up before 6PM, you can usually get the power turned on the same day you sign up.
I can’t move into my apartment without electric service. Can I get electricity the same day I sign up?
Moving is stressful, and many people forget to call the electric company to schedule electric service. Unfortunetly, most apartment complex’s require you show proof of electric service before they hand you your keys. Have no fear, Pogo Energy is here to get the lights turned on. Same day service means if you sign up for electricity before 6 PM, your lights can be switched on today.
