No Long-Term
Commitment
Electric Service Without a Long-Term Commitment
Month to Month Electric Plan
Month to month electric plans are the perfect option for people who move often. Most electric companies require a credit check, deposit and then a commitment of 6, 12 or 18 months to receive electric service that get the lights turned on. Pogo Energy is not like most electric companies. Pogo’s electric plan is prepaid (also called a month-to-month electric plan), and does not ask for any type of commitment from customers. Of course we like you and want you to stick with us, but if you can’t we don’t think it is our right to hold you hostage.
What Does No Long-Term Contract Mean?
What exactly does no long-term contract mean when you have a month to month electric plan? It means that if you move, or simply decide you want to try out a different electric provider, you are free to do so. The only time you can not leave is when you have a DPP set up. Customers with a DPP, need to finish paying back the balance on their DPP before they switch energy providers. Other than that, we promise not to cry when you break up with us.
