Deferred Account Balance
Your Deferred Account Balance (DAB) Helps Keep Daily Updates Predictable
What is a Deferred Account Balance?
A Deferred Account Balance, aka your DAB, is a temporary holding account for out of the ordinary charges, fees and other expenses that impact your account balance. En lugar de que Pogo aplique una gran deducción/cargo en tu cuenta de una sola vez, trasladamos el cargo a tu DAB y puedes reducirlo (¡lentamente!) con el tiempo.
For example, your TDU sends an official bill every month that includes your daily usage. Sometimes, this monthly amount is different from the sum of the daily usage charges. Los gastos de uso se trasladan a tu DAB y se pagan lentamente a lo largo del tiempo.
How does a DAB work?
- First and foremost, the DAB does not obligate you to do anything with or for Pogo – this is a convenience account that we keep on your behalf.
- Having a balance in your DAB will never have a negative impact on your account.
- If you have a DAB, each day, Pogo will trickle a little out of the DAB and add it to your daily update. (Specifics may change, but it’s usually around 5% of your DAB balance). This allows you to repay your balance a little at a time. If Pogo owes you money, we will repay you in the same manner.
- During extreme weather, if your account balance owes Pogo, rather than requiring that you recharge your account, your balance will transfer into your DAB each day.
Not-so-fine print.
No hay letra pequeña en el saldo de tu cuenta diferida porque NO hay condiciones, pero siempre estás cubierto por nuestras Condiciones de servicio… sí, nuestros abogados nos obligaron a decir esto.
You can find your current DAB balance on the Summary of Usage and Payments document (SUP).
How do I pay it off?
- Did we mention that having a balance in your DAB will never have a negative impact on your account?
- If you need to terminate service, any Deferred Account Balance will move into your account, and settle up then.
- If you want to clear your DAB, let Pogo Care know via chat and we’ll clear that out for you.
